My community and volunteer interests focus on youth and developing the next generation. I believe that we are all here for a reason, that every human being has unique value to offer the world. That’s why, through my community work, I aim to use my strategic skills to create opportunities for people to find and express this value. I’m committed to supporting young people to know their own value and to create a vision for their own bright futures.
Girl Guides is the world’s largest organisation for girls and women with a mission to enable them to grow into confident, self-respecting, responsible community members. I'm part of the Girl Guides Queensland Women of Substance program, which provides mentoring for high school girls by matching them with experienced women in their area of career interest.
I'm also a member of the Council of St Peters Lutheran College, one of Australia’s leading co-educational colleges. In this role I have the opportunity to be involved in nurturing the future direction for students and the wider community.
